Class Description

⭐ Who am I?

Hi, I’m Suzanne, an experienced lego therapist & teacher of 22 years.

I’ve extensive experience working with children who have ASD & experience barriers to learning.

I create a safe, relaxed & inclusive atmosphere to meet each child’s needs.

⭐ What is lego therapy? How does it help?

Lego Therapy focuses on building peer interaction & social skills whilst developing verbal & non-verbal language.

Working as a team, children rotate roles of being a builder, engineer & supplier. They are encouraged to take turns, share, wait, problem solve, listen, give and follow instructions. Sessions include establishing rules, & talking about emotions & how to help regulate them.

Before beginning the project, I will have a short meeting with you to give you and your child an opportunity to ask questions and for me to assess your child’s suitability to the programme.
