Hi, I am a Primary School teacher and I have been teaching for 22 years. Over my career I have taught Primary 1, Primary 2 and Primary 4. I am currently in a new role as a Learning Support Teacher working with children from P1 to P7.

I specialise in early reading skills, phonics and numeracy and I have extensive experience supporting children who have ASD or have barriers to learning.

My passion is supporting children to develop their confidence in becoming independent learners and recognizing their own abilities.

I have been tutoring for several years now and my students have moved out of additional help groups in school and progressed reading groups as their confidence and reading ability has developed.

I work closely with parents and students to identify the individual needs and then plan lessons to build on their strengths and develop skills and knowledge.
