I am an enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching. I prioritize engaging and motivating students to enable them to realize their full potential.

Since graduating with a PGCE from Southampton University in 2000, I first taught in secondary mainstream schools in England. For the last 13 years, I have taught students across key stages 2, 3, 4, and 5 in Northern Ireland. Over this period of time, I have gained extensive experience and curriculum knowledge across all of these key stages. I am a competent teacher of all disciplines of Science, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Food Technology.

Having been an examiner for the UK exam boards for the past 7 years, I have an in-depth understanding of both AQA and CCEA exam requirements. I have an appreciation of learning barriers and have mastered a range of approaches to break down complex concepts to suit the needs of individual learners. I comprehend the importance of appropriate assessment and positive feedback to enable students to build their self-esteem and become confident learners.

My dedicated approach gives each and every individual the opportunity and skills to embrace subject content and believe in their own ability to tackle classroom assignments and external exams.
