👋 Hi! I’m Dr Julie (aka. Julie-Anne), I have 26 years' teaching experience. Teaching is my passion, I love helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals.

I specialise in SEAG Maths & English (Transfer Test), English up to and including university level, and academic mentoring/tutoring.

I’ve a Doctorate in Education, a Masters in English and I’m a qualified and experienced post-primary English teacher.

I keep up to date with the most current research, methodologies and teaching practices. I’m an expert in motivational teaching styles that support students’ psychological wellbeing and mental health whilst also promoting a love for learning.

I’ve taught in kindergartens, schools and at university level in various educational establishments in Taiwan, Mexico, Ecuador, Gran Canaria, England and Northern Ireland. I bring my extensive teaching experience, abundance of academic knowledge, and deep passion for teaching and learning into the lives of my students through interactive, dynamic and enjoyable lessons.

Students of all ages love learning with me! They often exclaim at the end of lessons, “Wow! Is it that time already?” Time flies when you’re learning lots and having fun!
