Hi I'm Hazel, I have a degree in Theatre Studies and English, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (primary), and a Masters in Education focusing on Difficulties in Literacy Development and Equality and Diversity.

I have been teaching in primary schools for over 20 years, working with Year 1 to Year 7 students as a Numeracy support teacher and a Literacy support teacher.

I am particularly interested in supporting children who struggle within mainstream school settings and who would benefit from one-to-one or small group teaching. I also focus on helping children who have difficulty with reading.

I understand the importance of a warm and caring environment for children to learn successfully.
