About Hazel Maguire
Hazel has a degree in Theatre Studies and English, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (primary) and a Masters in Education focusing on Difficulties in Literacy Development and Equality and Diversity.
She has been teaching in primary schools for over 20 yrs. Teaching Year1 to Year 7, as a Numeracy support teacher and a Literacy support teacher.
Hazel is particularly interested in supporting those children who struggle within mainstream school settings and who would benefit from one to one or small group teaching. And also those children who have difficulty with reading.
Hazel understands the importance of a warm and caring environment for children to learn successfully.
